New York City is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat no matter what you are in the mood for. If you are one of those people who enjoys breakfast menus for dinner, you will not be let down in the Big Apple. New Yorkers understand that you shouldn’t have to limit yourself to dinner food for dinner.
There are plenty of delicious restaurants that you can head to at dinnertime for your fix of breakfast foods, but everyone has their favorite spot. My favorite spot for some evening breakfast food is in the East Village.
Clinton Street Baking Company, located between East Houston Street and Stanton Street (on Clinton Street), is the hotspot when it comes to breakfast for dinner. Clinton Street Baking Company is very popular with the breakfast and brunch crowd, so going there for dinner always saves you some time when it comes to having a wait.
Clinton Street Baking Company is known for their pancakes and I highly suggest you trying them. Prepare yourself to bite into some of the fluffiest pancakes you have ever tried. I always go for the chocolate chunk pancakes, which come filled with chocolate chunks as well as some extra chunks on top for a little added bonus. The pancakes always come with a side of maple syrup that is clearly the real deal, not that chemical-filled fake stuff.
If you are more of an egg person, there are some amazing egg options as well. There are also always the non-breakfast food options for those lame friends of yours who want to tag along for dinner, but don’t like breakfast food. Their fried chicken is pretty impressive, so that’s another great suggestion.
I have never been disappointed by the service at this restaurant and the environment is very relaxed. Plus, every table gets a plate of biscuits to start off their meal instead of bread like at most diners.
Clinton Street Baking Company is definitely a “don’t miss” for anyone who is in New York City.
